Chiltern Liberal Democrats Ruth Juett, Dee Kirby and Frances Kneller joined:

  • Deputy Leader Jo Swinson MP
  • Layla Moran MP for Oxford West and Abingdon
  • London Mayoral Candidate Siobhan Benita
  • Baroness Lynne Featherstone
  • Southwark Council Group leader Cllr Anood Al-Samerai

to celebrate International Women's Day at a networking evening for Women in the Lib Dems, on 11th March at the National Liberal Club in London.

It was an opportunity to chat with other London Liberal Democrat women, prospective parliamentary candidates and council candidates and to find out how we can get involved. On hand was Candy Piercy, Chair of the Campaign for Gender Balance who had lots of tips and ideas for aspiring Liberal Democrat MPs and councillors.
