Bucks County Council Elections 2009

On Thursday 4th June you will have your chance to decide how our county is run for another 4 years.

This year is the 120th anniversary of the establishment of Bucks County Council.Yet the astonishing fact is that since its inception, only one party has held power - that's longer than the one party regimes of Cuba, China, Albania and North Korea to mention just a few!

The Tories have managed our County for all that time and yet we end up with failing local services, cuts in services for the elderly and young alike, crumbling roads and school buildings, muddled waste policies, uninterested representatives, financial incompetence and excessive, inefficent bureaucracy. Ring any bells?

Liberal Democrats throughout the county and especially in the Chiltern district believe that we all deserve a change for the better.

Our manifesto sets out in detail the issues for action focussing on the different parts of our community.

We have committed candidates who want to make a difference.
