Don't close the Botley Post Office says Tim Starkey

"Don't close the Botley Post Office", says Tim Starkey

Chiltern Liberal Democrats joined forces with local residents this weekend (Saturday 28th June) to protest against the closure of Botley Post Office.

Parliamentary spokesman Tim Starkey said "Over the weekend I have spoken to people living near each of the four branches that are marked for closure. There is a real feeling of anger. In Botley and Ley Hill hundreds of residents would suddenly find themselves a mile and a half from the nearest branch. The hardest hit will be the disabled and elderly. The shop attached to the branch would struggle to survive without the post office business. Both are at the heart of the community and would be a huge loss."
